Partee Panthers clinch Chandigarh Golf League knockout spot

Partee Panthers secure knockout spot in Chandigarh Golf League

In the Chandigarh Golf League season 2 at the Chandigarh Golf Club, the competition heated up as teams made their final push to secure knockout spots.

The Soaring Eagles made a last-ditch effort to qualify with a 5-2 victory over Punjab Aces, while the Sleepy Owl Chargers secured a 6-1 win against the Golf Masters. However, their progress in the tournament remains uncertain.

Four matches to determine final four spots

With one day of the round-robin stage remaining, the final four spots in the elimination rounds are up for grabs. Eight teams have virtually secured their entry into the next stage. The Partee Panthers, hoping for a top-four spot to earn a bye into the quarter-finals, need other match results to go in their favor. Bhavkaran Singh and Rabiya Gill, the star singles players, secured comfortable victories, going 3 and 2. The Green Gators then claimed the first three fourball games, two of them with a significant lead of five holes. However, the Panthers managed to win the final two games 4 and 3, securing an early victory.
